It doesn’t take much to see the increase of sin and wickedness in our country.  A brief scan of the headlines and one will see the hurt and pain shared by believers and non-believers alike. Some of what the Christian sees causes a David like cry for the Lord to show his power and might.  At the same time, he cries out for God’s mercy upon our Nation. Such is the duality of the Christian.  In light of our darkening world, how should the Christian respond? How should he feel? What is the biblical response to all of this? 

The sermon above is from 2016 and is my attempt to provide an answer to the hurt in this world.  It provides hope for the Christian and some answers for the non-Christian.  May God’s Word be a source of encouragement and a balm of healing for all mankind.
