The Playbook: Five Strategic Plays to Restore the Prophetic Voice of the Church in America
What in the world happened to the church? Where is her clarion call for righteousness? Where is her authority? Where is her courage to speak boldly into the critical issues of our day? Where is her faith that the Word of God will not return empty? “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it." (Isa 55:10–11)
The Playbook makes the case that the American church has lost her prophetic voice, and puts forward a scriptural plan for its restoration. Using a football motif, it prescribes a set of “plays” or biblical solutions that are easy to understand, but hard to do. The Playbook examines the desperate need for the church to Reclaim the Gospel Message, Reestablish Holiness, Reform the Family, Ready the Church through Stewardship, and Reestablish Trust in Church Leadership. It declares the need to build a Biblical Worldview in all the major areas of life and address sins biblically with the prayer that God would save individuals, families, and indeed the Nation from darkness.
Ultimately, The Playbook calls the modern church to conform to biblical precepts, principles, and patterns and to exalt Jesus Christ in everything. Far from being mean-spirited or judgmental, The Playbook argues that declaring “what thus says the Lord” is the most loving message of all.

This book is the culmination of many years of learning, and more importantly, it reflects what the Bible says in critical areas to the best of my ability. So I'm asking for your prayers...
- That Christ would be honored by it (Col 1:18)
- That people would read it and be exhorted and encouraged (2 Tim 4:2; 1 Thes 5:11)
- That it would contribute to the ongoing reformation in our Nation (2 Tim 3:16-17)
- That I can endure the warfare that will result (Eph 6:12)
- That the whole "publishing a book" thing would be done in a God-honoring way! (Matt 21:12-13)
This book is totally self-published. I call it my "five loaves and two fish" I'm giving to the Lord to do with what He will. (John 6:9) May man get no glory and Christ be lifted up. Just asking for your prayers.
