Good Day Saints!
On the LORD’s Day yesterday, our focus was this holy Text:
Matthew 17:19-20 (KJV) Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? 20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

In light of all we discussed concerning unbelief, here are a few questions that might inspire some self-examination and/or good conversations in your home this week:
What is unbelief?
Biblical faith does three things. What are they?
Have you ever struggled with unbelief?
Is there a difference between unbelief and rebellion?
Is there a difference between acknowledging the truth of the Scriptures and believing the Scriptures?
Why can unbelief be so hard to detect?
Do you really believe the Scriptures are Inspired, Infallible, Inerrant, and Sufficient? (See THIS MESSAGE for some definitions)
Scripture says “faith without works is dead” (James 2:17) Discuss.
Sometimes, believing God has a cost. Discuss.
We mentioned the Faith/Obedience Gap. What is that? How can we overcome it?
What are some of the benefits and blessings of walking more consistently in true belief vs. unbelief?
If you have identified some areas of unbelief, what should you do?
After studying Matthew 17:14-21 for the last two weeks, I know many of us can identify with the father of the possessed boy:
Mark 9:24 (KJV) And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
Please Jesus! Amen!
